ONLINE CONSULTING SESSIONS
Completely confidential - $125 per session
Christy Ralphs is the owner of Nourish Gardens, a small-scale flower farm and education centre on Waiheke Island, and co-founder of the Floral Business Activator (FBA).
With a background in teaching and years of experience growing and selling seasonal flowers, Christy has a practical, thoughtful consulting approach to help you build a thriving floral business.
Get targeted support tailored to your stage of business—whether you're streamlining systems, pricing, planning for markets, or navigating the realities of sustainable flower farming.
You’ve done the workshops. You’ve tried the spreadsheets. You’ve put in the hours.
But running a flower business isn’t just about knowing the “how-to.”
It’s about navigating the right path for you.
Whether you’re wrestling with a crop plan that doesn’t feel right, pricing that doesn’t reflect your work, or questions about scaling without burnout—consulting sessions with Christy is your space to think things through and make decisions that fit your values, goals, and real life.
We meet online via Google Meet (you’ll get a link—no downloads necessary), for a 75-minute recorded conversation. At the end of the session, there's usually a follow up email with information and resources to help.
One session may be all you need to get unstuck. Or you may decide to book more as you make progress, pivot directions, or want an experienced voice to think with.
Every session is tailored to your stage of growing—whether you’re in the thick of busy seasons or pausing to plan what’s next. You don’t need to show up with a perfect spreadsheet or business plan. Just come with what’s on your mind—we’ll shape the session around it. Here are some of the areas we can explore:
For when you're building or reworking your business model and want clarity about direction, sales, and income.
What to grow (and why), based on your market, capacity, and goals
Mapping out a clear sales plan: florists, market, or direct-to-customer
Pricing with confidence—whether it’s bunches, buckets, or bouquets
Reworking your business model or refining your brand
For when you want to simplify, streamline, and get things running more smoothly—without burning out.
Lean farming systems and low-overhead tools to make the work manageable
Workflow improvements: planting, harvesting, processing, and packing
Setting up repeatable systems that save time and energy
Making the most of your space, labour, and tools
For when you're feeling stuck, spread thin, or trying to figure out how to keep going.
Setting boundaries with your time and energy
Navigating transitions—like moving from hobby to business (or scaling back)
Working through bottlenecks or burnout
Figuring out what’s next in a way that feels grounded and doable
Because she's been where you are.
Christy started her flower business, Nourish Gardens, from scratch and grew it into a sought-after flower brand with loyal customers, successful workshops, and a market presence that’s both profitable and personally fulfilling.
She knows the nitty-gritty of what it means to seed, grow, sell, juggle family life, face down bad weather, and still show up for your business. And more importantly? She’s built a business that reflects her pace, her priorities, and her version of success—not anyone else’s. Now she’s here to help you do the same.
