Week 1: Quick Crop Assessment
Knowing what flowers and foliage make business sense means constantly assessing your crops. You need to know:
does the crop grow well - propagation, pest and disease control, support, feeding and cultivation?
how productive are the plants - how many usable stems for the space and time it takes to grow?
how well does it cut and condition - what's the harvest window, how easy to cut, does it need special treatment?
does it pack and ship with ease - how fragile are the stems, how much room does it take up, can it last out of water for long?
do your customers want what you grow - can you sell every stem, how many customers will buy it, does it command a good price?
Complete a quick crop assessment this week and answer all these questions for yourself. Figure our what crops are best for you and your business.

Week 2: Business Year - Quick Annual Review
Having a plan in business is only useful if you take the time to review how your plan turned out.
Did you do what you planned?
Did your plans turn our as your intended?
What worked, and what didn't?
What was a cause for celebration?
What caused you pressure and stress?
What would you change in future?
At the end of the business year is a good time to take stock of your plan. This toolkit and tutorial will help you conduct a quick review of your last business year.

Week 3: Quick Sales Assessment
It's your customers, not your flowers, that make a business. No customers means not business, even if you have beautiful flowers to sell.
But knowing what are the best sales channels for you and your business can be hard, especially if you are starting out or struggling to sell your flowers.
This includes knowing:
what type of selling you enjoy
how much effort you want to put into marketing
what type of product you have to sell, and when
how you can spread your sales risk by selling through multiple channels.
This toolkit and webinar will help you to assess what are the right channels for you. You'll explore the five key channels to market:
Auctions
Wholesalers
Retailers
Direct sales
Florists.

Week 4: Setting yourself up for success
We all want to be successful right?
People's relationship is unique and often complicated. Even when you're excellent at setting goals and making plans, success can be elusive.
It's easy to turn failure into a fear of success.
This week take the time to set yourself up for success by consolidating all the learning from your recent reviews into a definitive plan for the coming year. This planner will guide you through defining success on your terms and creating plans that you'll stick to.
If you want to set aside 90-minutes to complete this work join the FBA Planning Workshops. You can get all the details here.

Week 6: Simple Business Blueprint
If you don't want to leave the success of your business to chance, it pays to have a plan. A blueprint that summarises your ideas and intentions for your business in a structured way.
This week you can use a one-page template to create your own business blueprint. In 60-minutes or less you can map out: - who is your ideal customer - how your business serves that customer - who are the people who will support your business building - how you'll make money in your business.
This week's planner will guide you step-by-step through the key questions you need to answer to put your business on a firm foundation. When you've completed the workbook you can write your blueprint using the one-page canvas or google spreadsheet.

Week 7: Planning Your Growing Year
Growing is an all-year round operation. There's always something to be thinking about and taking action on.
It's easy to get lost in the to-do list and forget your true priorities. To remember something you've forgotten to do, only to find that it's too late.
That's why it's important to have a system for staying on top of all those growing jobs. This week we're creating a calendar of important dates so you don't have to remember but just follow your plan and let your growing calendar be your guide.
