There's nothing worse that getting stuck or struggling as a business owner. There comes a point when you wrestling with your ideas and problems on your own becomes counterproductive. It can lead to procrastination, isolation, overwhelm and self sabotage. Often all you need is to talk things through with someone who won't judge you or tell you how you 'should' be doing it instead. That's the role of mentor and coach - to listen and help you find a way forward to make sound decisions with confidence.
BE THE DIRECTOR OF YOUR BUSINESS
When you're in the thick of it in starting and running a business it's easy to lose direction. To get pulled towards other people's ideas and goals rather than what you are working to achieve. You may have written the plan but stopped paying attention to it. Don't worry that happens to best of us! You are not alone getting distracted. Working with a mentor can get you back on track and set your own pace. You'll make progress faster and learn how powerful your own resourcefulness really is.
We meet online via Zoom. Sessions last for 75 minutes and can be recorded or you can take your own notes. Before we meet you complete a short questionnaire so you can be clear on the topics we'll talk about. At the end of the session, there's usually a follow up email with information and resources to help. One session may be enough or you can book further sessions to keep talking as you make progress.
You can meet in-person with Julie Treanor at her business, The Pickery. Based in Kaitoke, Upper Hutt north of Wellington. Spend a full day or half day in Julie's studio or walking and talking around the cutting gardens at The Pickery. In-Person Mentoring is perfect if you want to dive deep into multiple aspects of your business and see how Julie's own business is set up and operates.

Mentoring is an investment in yourself as a business owner to help you develop and grow your business.
Fees (including GST):
Mentoring via Zoom or telephone are $125 per 75-minute session.
In-Person Mentoring are $500 for half-day and $750 for whole day. Includes refreshments and light lunch for whole day workshops.

She knows from the inside and out what it takes to start and run a business. The ups and downs, the twists and turns. Supporting and observing others on their entrepreneurial journeys is as inspiring and exciting to Julie as running her own venture.
Julie doesn't always have the answers (far from it) but she can help you join your own dots, generate your own ideas and help you find your own clarity, confidence and commitment to figure out what works.
